Bet Poll! And Congratulations to Deuce!

This post isn’t about releases, just about a few things, and some commentary.

First off,the bet escalates! There is now a poll on the sidebar. Participate if you want. Or you can just mock us for being silly.

Anyhow, for the most important thing. I wanted to make a post to congratulate Deuce. From what I’ve heard on Ancient Land of Ys,it sounds like XSEED has purchased his translation of Oath in Felghana for their PSP release.

This is fantastic news,as Deuce’s translation is very well respected in the community (despite the hacker for the patch) and many people will be happy to hear this news.

But the reason I have for bringing this up is because this is amazing and a great nod to the community ‘old guard’if you want to call the older Falcom fans that. What we’re seeing is that XSEED is willing to reach over the line and do something that will make much of the fandom that already exists happy. They’re giving us an amazing translation of the game with a copy of the game that we can legitimately purchase while actually supporting Falcom at the same time.

But this is also a great opportunity to show how much XSEED is going to listen to the fans.

This is yet another reason why people should support XSEED. They’re also very responsive to people on both their Facebook and their Twitter. Try chatting it up with them, for they’re great people and they certainly do listen.

We’ve just had proof of that.

What we also have proof of is that Deuce has paved a whole new path for the Falcom fandom, and provided something for all of us to wait for eagerly.:D Oath in Felghana PSP is released at the end of the year.

Yeah! It’s great that Deuce got what he deserved for the translation he did. I never knew too much about XSeed but that definitely makes it one of my new favorite company along with NISA and Atlas (actually there’s also a couple other companies that I love like Camelot and Pokemon companies).

I know what you mean, besides Wild ARMs 4 and 5,I never cared to much for XSEED. But with this annoucement, they growed a lot in my heart, reaching second position, behind only NISA.
